BPC, Canpotex, IPL and APC have all settled the Chinese MOP import supply contracts at $220 cfr with the consortium of three buyers—CNAMPGC, Sinochem, and CNOOC—for delivery until the end of 2020, with the exception of Canpotex who has only settled until October 2020. There has still been no news regarding a settlement by Uralkali and it now seems unlikely that the producer will settle a contract at the $220 cfr price.
India: On 12 May, Canpotex settled a contract with Indian Potash Limited (IPL) at $230 cfr including 180 days’ credit for shipments through to the end of 2020. BPC, ICL, Uralkali and Arab Potash Company (APC) followed with K+S later also reported to have joined the ranks and finalized a contract with IPL.
